Anthony Davis and LeBron James logged heavy minutes in Tuesday night’s overtime win over Utah. And now its sounding like AD could be out for tonight’s pivotal game against the Clippers.

Appearing on ESPN’s “Get Up” this morning, NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski revealed there’s “real question” concerning whether or not Davis would play a back-to-back after coming back from his foot injury.

Adding, “He’ll talk again to the team doctors today but they have been very careful with him. They do not want to re-aggravate that right foot injury.”

The sports world reacted to Woj’s Anthony Davis update on Twitter.

“Damn shame this has to be a topic of conversation especially with the playoffs on the line,” a user replied.

“If D’Lo, LeBron, and AD don’t play tonight, I find that beyond hilarious that a team trying to make the playoffs is tanking and still holding players out when every game is critical,” a fan said. “Clippers need to handle business tonight regardless of who’s on the floor. Blow them out!”

“S— so soft now… This a big game and they talking bout sitting out smh it’s basketball man,” another laughed.

Davis posted 21 points, 14 rebounds and six assists last night.
