The Phoenix Suns are already down 0-2 to the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Semifinals.

Now the team received bad news regarding one of its most important players in Chris Paul.

According to The Athletic/Stadium’s Shams Charania, Paul will miss the next couple games in the series with a groin injury.

“Phoenix Suns guard Chris Paul is expected to be re-evaluated in one week after MRI on his groin injury today, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Suns are preparing to be without Paul through Games 3-5, sources said.”

NBA fans across the world reacted to the news on social media.

The news is terrible for a Suns team that already has no bench and depends heavily on the All-Star trio of Paul, Devin Booker, and Kevin Durant. The team will have to rely even more on Booker and Durant and hope other people can step up in Paul’s absence.
