The Miami Heat will look to take a 2-0 lead over the New York Knicks without Jimmy Butler.
Miami announced that Butler won’t play Tuesday night due to an ankle injury suffered at the end of Sunday’s victory at Madison Square Garden.
Butler is obviously a significant loss, but fans see the logic in letting the star heal after winning Game 1 on the road.
“JIMMY PLEASE NO BE OK,” a concerned fan said on Twitter.

Butler put the Heat on his back in a shocking first-round upset over the top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks. The 33-year-old averaged 37.6 points per game, including 56 in Game 4 and 42 in Game 5’s series-clinching overtime triumph.
On Sunday, Butler led Miami to a 108-101 win over New York with 25 points and 11 rebounds. However, he essentially ended the game as a decoy after rolling his ankle.
Although the Heat may struggle to manufacture enough offense without Butler and Tyler Herro, the Knicks are also limping into Tuesday’s contest. Julius Randle and Jalen Brunson are game-time decisions for Game 2, which starts at 7:30 p.m. ET on TNT.
