Wembanyama officially declared for the 2023 NBA Draft on Friday, beginning the countdown to June 22 when he will almost certainly be taken by the team that wins the No. 1 overall pick.
The 7’2″ Wembanyama is unlike any player the league has ever seen, possessing the defensive ability of players like Rudy Gobert while handling the ball and shooting like a guard.
The sports world is reacting to Wembanyama’s announcement.
