The Golden State Warriors made some awesome history on Sunday afternoon.

They scored 55 points in the first quarter of their game against the Portland Trail Blazers, which is an NBA record. They’re the only team to ever do that in the history of the league.

Both Jordan Poole and Steph Curry have gone off for them, scoring 18 points respectfully (so far). They’re also on pace to score over 160 points by the end of the game.

The NBA community is going crazy over this.

“Records falling on the final day of the regular season,” another tweet read.

The Warriors are ready to defend their title after they won their fourth championship in the Steph Curry era last season.

If they hold on to win, they’ll finish the season at 44-38, which might be good enough for fifth in the Western Conference depending on how the Clippers-Suns game goes.
