10-time NBA All-Star Carmelo Anthony retired today and while many current and former players are praising him for his incredible career, Kevin Durant had a unique response to the news.
Taking to Instagram, Durant posted some “iconic” photos of the two of them playing during their respective careers. One was from their Team USA days, while a few others were from when Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder played Melo and the New York Knicks – with Durant pointing out numerous fouls that were not called.
The last photo Durant shared was a screenshot where Melo joked about a rather unflattering image of him. “Ya milk dud head ass!!!!! Lmfao,” Melo wrote.

Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Durant were never teammates in the NBA but won two gold medals together with Team USA at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics.
Both played for the Oklahoma City Thunder at various points in their careers, with Durant getting his start with the Thunder (and the Seattle SuperSonics before then) while Melo started the downslide of his career there.
