Springbok Women in three-week European tour

The Springbok Women are in Spain for an intensive three-week training camp which will include games against their hosts, Spain and Canada.

THE COACHES AND AIMS

The squad will be under the guidance of interim coach Louis Koen. He will be assisted by Junior Springbok Women’s head coach Laurian Johannes-Haupt.

They aim to use this to build the experience levels within the team, especially of the younger talent, and give the players a taste of international competition.

THE TESTS

The Springbok Women will be playing two tests at the Estadio Nacional de la Universidad Complutense in Madrid. They play against Canada on Saturday, 25 March, and against Spain on Saturday, 1 April- no joke.
