Stacey Solomon collects teenage son from first date

Stacey Solomon was overcome with emotion as she picked up her teenage son Zachary from his first ever date.

The Loose Women star, 32, admitted she “could cry” as she collected him from the ice rink on Wednesday evening.

The mum-of-four took her newborn daughter Rose along to collect the youngster, with Stacey revealing she can’t quite believe how quickly he is growing up.

Grinning from ear-to-ear with baby Rose on her hip, Stacey explained on her Instagram Story: “Me and Rose have come out to pick Zacky up from his date!”

She added alongside the video: “It’s just the cutest but also so scary how quickly they grew up. Rose was wide awake so I was so excited to be here to pick him up.”

Later on in the night, Stacey shared a Story of herself with a hot chocolate and whipped cream, titling it: “Being a taxi driver mum has its perks.”

Stacey, who shares sons Zachary and Leighton with ex-boyfriend Dean Cox, recently revealed she and husband-to-be Joe Swash are planning to get married in July.

Speaking on Loose Women, she revealed: “Get your hat out, Ruth. Yes, we would love… if all goes well.. because Covid’s still massive and you never know what’s around the corner, but we would love to get married in July next year, we really would. It will be so nice to have the boys and Rose there.”

Rose was born back in October, on Stacey’s 32nd birthday, which is the family’s first daughter.

She shares son Rex and now daughter Rose with former EastEnders star Joe.

They explained that because their son Rex is now two and a half he can really start to enjoy Christmas with the rest of the family.

Stacey says: “This is such an exciting time for Rex. He’s two and a half and it’s the first Christmas he’s had where he’s like, ‘Wow.’ The older boys are excited for him as well. It’s so lovely and nice to see them all together getting excited. And it’s just nice to be in the house.”

It’ll be Rose’s first Christmas as well as the first time they’ve been able to celebrate after moving into their new house, Pickle Cottage.
