Things are going to look and sound a bit different in the Honky Tonk during the 15th annual Stagecoach Country Music Festival at the Empire Polo Club in Indio on April 28-30.
Longtime Stagecoach collaborator and Late Night in Palomino performer Diplo is taking over the Honky Tonk this year and is bringing along some of his famous friends to keep the music and dancing going all day long.
Festival promoters Goldenvoice revealed the lineup for the three-day weekend and it includes an impressive roster of well-known DJs.
Pittsburgh-based DJ Girl Talk, who is known for his mash-ups, will lead the pack on Friday, April 28 along with Disko Cowboy, Flying Mojito Bros, Pennywild and DJ Rick. Los Angeles-based DJ and producer Dillion Francis will headline the Honky Tonk on Saturday, April 29 with support from former “The Bachelorette” contestant and TV personality Blake Horstmann, Fundido, Alana Grace and DJ 30Rack. Belgian DJ and record producer Lost Frequencies will close out the stage on Sunday, April 30 with L.A.-based electronic trio Cheat Codes, DJ Bad Ash and DJ Kermie J Rock.
The Honky Tonk serves as a great space to take a break from the heat of the festival as it’s one of the few air-conditioned escapes, plus there are free dance lessons and several bars to purchase drinks and snacks.
