Carbone Beach is a four-night supper club with glamour to spare.
Carbone Beach, a restaurant pop-up that’s as over-the-top as pop-ups get, is coming back to Miami on May 4-7. Created by Major Food Group in partnership with American Express, the Miami Beach “supper club on the sand” will feature food from chef Mario Carbone and a slew of surprise performances. And this is all happening during Miami Race Week, when numerous globetrotting A-listers are in town for Formula 1’s Miami Grand Prix, so you can expect a star-studded turnout.
Last year, performers Andrea Bocelli, Wyclef Jean, Kygo and Chloe Flower dazzled crowds that included David Beckham, Serena and Venus Williams, LeBron James, Hailee Steinfeld, Jamie Foxx and many other celebrities. And last year, the evenings also showcased elaborate ice sculptures, race cars and ultra-luxurious food like oversized caviar cones.
So now Major Food Group is working to orchestrate an even more memorable experience at 2023’s Carbone Beach.
Chef Mario Carbone is curating the over-the-top menu each night.
“We’re always trying to push the limits of what we can do,” says Major Food Group managing partner Jeff Zalaznick, who received a key to the city from Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber at Carbone Beach last year. “Last year was an over-the-top, overwhelming success that wowed and delighted people. It was an experience that really toed the line between a Gatsby-like dinner party and an incredible concert. So we’re going to take the food and everything else we did last year to another level. This year will be even crazier. It’s going to be more opulent, more exclusive. American Express is an incredible partner, and we’re thrilled to be doing this with them again.”
Each of the four nights (at a location that will be revealed in the near future) is priced at $3,000 per person. Starting today, guests can visit CarboneBeach.com to request a table (for eight to 14 people) or a spot on the waiting list. Individual tickets will be available on Resy April 6, with the first access given to AMEX Platinum and Centurion cardholders.

Guests at this year’s Carbone Beach can expect more caviar along with extravagant seafood towers, colossal dry-aged steaks, special new dishes and crowd-pleasing classics that might remind you of nights you’ve spent eating at Carbone in South Beach, New York City, Las Vegas, Dallas, Hong Kong or Doha. Each evening will start with a cocktail hour that leads into a seated dinner.
And if you have dietary restrictions or other food-related issues, Carbone Beach is willing to accommodate.
Carbone has become a global sensation with dishes like spicy rigatoni.
“The Major Group Food ethos is anything we can do, we do for you,” Zalaznick says. “We can cater to desires and needs.”
The ultimate goal is to create something that truly stands out during an overheated week of events.
“These big weekends have become very stale, very static,” Zalaznick says. “There are these big parties and events that don’t feel intimate or personal at all and have very little exclusivity and very little luxury. Carbone Beach is a luxury product. F1 is a luxury weekend. Major Food Group is a luxury group. I think the turnout last year was a testament to all those things coming together. We really spend time on making sure this is one of the best nights of your life.”
