The Star Wars animated universe will continue to expand. Tales of the Jedi, one of the most recent productions in this format that premiered on Disney+, will return to the streaming platform very soon with new episodes to continue telling the story of legendary members of the Jedi Order.
During the second day of the Star Wars Celebration, Dave Filoni confirmed that the series would continue after the success of the first installment and after several renewal rumors that had not been confirmed:
“Tales of the Jedi was so fun the first time. I did some more.”
This new production came to streaming on Oct. 26, 2022, with six episodes, taking viewers and fans into the lives of two very different Jedi, Ahsoka Tano, and Count Dooku. The fictional stories communicated with each other and echoed with The Prequel Trilogy, Clone Wars, and Rebels.
Each character had three-episode arcs that followed key events in their respective lives, such as Ahoska being taken by the Jedi Order (and what she was up to not long after leaving it) and Dooku’s time as a young Jedi before he eventually defected over to the Separatists with Palpatine.
