Step inside Karan Johar’s swanky vanity van with his sweatshirts recycled as cushions and four other must-haves. Watch

Karan Johar has shared a video to give his fans a detailed look at his vanity van, completely designed as per his likes and requirements. The van incudes his sweatshirts recycled into cushion covers that rest on the comfortable couch. There is also ample space for his accessories like rings and glasses. Sharing the video on Instagram, Karan wrote, “Everything inside this space of mine, screams me!!! #vanity #behindthescenes.” In the video, Karan lists out the five things he needs his vanity van to have. First is specific spaces for his vanity items like glasses and rings. Second is colourful and unique cushions about which he says, “really comfortable cushions which have been made by our production designer Amrita by my sweatshirts. She has torn my sweatshirts and made them into really comfortable cushions.”

Then there is a wardrobe for the jackets “which has all the bling”, a coffee machine since there are guests and finally a microwave. He says, “My microwave is very critical because of course lunch, dinner, tea, everything needs to be hot hot for me.”

A painting on a wall, a separate kitchen area and a golden shade on the ceiling are also seen. The entire vanity van is done in white and gold colours.

A fan suggested Karan in the comments section, “Good one….just multi-coloured lights or 3D projector…may be needed.” Another commented, “your glasses are more famous that you kjoooooo.” A comment also read, “Beautiful interiors same like your heart.” Many also called it “beautiful” and “awesome”.

Karan is now gearing up for his directorial comeback with Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. It will hit theatres on April 28 and stars Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi and Dharmendra.
