Stop me if you have heard this before: Stephen A. Smith had a take that aged like milk.
It happened again recently when Smith said that he thinks Joel Embiid’s game translates better to the playoffs than Nikola Jokic’s.
“I’m an Embiid guy because I think his abilities translate to the playoffs. For example, when I knew the Lakers would win in the bubble, I said it was because they have Anthony Davis. As big-time as Jokic is, the athleticism that Davis has over him is going to be problematic if Davis focuses on the defensive end. He’s no answer for Embiid,” Smith said.

How’s the crow tasting with that one, Stephen A.?
Jokic is having a postseason for the ages as he’s scored 20+ points in every game except one. Heck, in all four games against the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Finals, he scored 23+ points.
Jokic will likely not care what he says, especially when he plays in the NBA Finals next week.
