Former No. 1 overall pick Kwame Brown recently thrust himself back into the national spotlight with some inflammatory comments coming after LeBron James.
With this recent controversy, Stephen A. Smith’s old rant about Brown is once again making the rounds on social media.
The ESPN host absolutely blasted the Brown in this iconic rant, calling him a “bonafide scrub.”

“Top 5 rant in sports history,” one fan wrote.
“I brought this up a few days ago. Elite flame job,” another added.
“This is the legit stereotypical ‘no disrespect’ and then saying the most disrespectful things you could possibly say,” another added.
“He is a bonafide scrub. He can’t play no disrespect but this man cannot play the game of basketball” https://t.co/9rOmLhI3gR pic.twitter.com/0dB85guKit

Despite being selected with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2001 NBA Draft, Brown averaged just 6.6. points per game through his 12-year professional career.
This wasn’t Smith’s first rant as a hot-take analyst, and it certainly won’t be his last.
