Punk-rock poet Patti Smith, indie-rock favorites the Flaming Lips and blues legend Buddy Guy are among the many highlights in the 2023 Stern Grove Festival lineup announced today, April 25.
The bill also includes such immensely talented acts as country music star Lyle Lovett, acclaimed singer-songwriter Santigold and world music great Angelique Kidjo.
The 10-week series kicks off June 18 with a show headlined by popular jazz act Snarky Puppy. All shows start at 2 p.m.
Admission is free to all concerts held at Sigmund Stern Grove in San Francisco, but people need to reserve their spots in advance in order to attend via sterngrove.org.

August 6: Buddy Guy Damn Right Farewell Tour, Eric Gales
August 13: Patti Smith, Bob Mould
August 20: The Big Picnic Featuring The Flaming Lips, Alan Palomo (Neon Indian DJ Set)
