Researchers analyzed more than 40 studies from nearly 90 nations to come up with the list that may or may not surprise you, depending on where you are, where you’ve visited and what you’ve seen.

The study, published in World Data, determined that men in Ecuador are the most endowed, averaging an imposing 17.61 cm.

Cameroon men came in second, measuring an average of 16.67 cm.

Bolivia was just below that at 16.51 cm, Sudan took fourth place with their male citizens boasting 16.47 cm while Haiti rounded out the top five at 16.01 cm.

“No other topic on this website has been asked for more often than the average size of male genitalia,” the World Data authors stated, explaining that the sites’ team scoured studies from as far back as 2001 to come up with the list.

Canada didn’t exactly come up short; of the 88 countries analyzed, male Canucks impressed at not-so-unlucky No. 13 with the average member measuring at 15.71 cm.

Meanwhile, the United States and the United Kingdom didn’t crack the top 50 with the U.S. taking the 60th spot with an average size of 13.58 cm while Brits’ knobs were an average size of 13.13 cm, putting them in 68th place.

As for the countries with the smallest average erections, Hong Kong (11.19 cm), Sri Lanka (10.89 cm), the Philippines (10.85 cm), Myanmar (10.70 cm) and Cambodia (10.04 cm) were the biggest losers.

The researchers found only a “marginal” connection between penis length and body size, but found countries with higher obesity rates tended to have smaller members, which could explain the distribution of fat tissue.

Similarly, age didn’t play a factor with hardly any of the studies finding a correlation between penis size and the age of those tested.

Wherever possible, the team avoided using studies where men had self-reported their penis size and the researchers did not take the circumference of the shaft of the penis into account.

Of the top 20 countries, half were in Africa, three were in South America, three in North America and four in Europe — unless you consider Georgia in Asia.

Sure, let’s throw Asia a bone.
