DUBAI, 7th May, 2022 (WAM) — Dubai Customs and the Higher Colleges of Technology – Dubai (HCT) have worked together in a number of voluntary initiatives, launched by Dubai Customs during the Holy Month of Ramadan including Al Furdah Hands initiative as part of its annual “Blessed Days” campaign.
This reflects the fruitful cooperation between Dubai Customs and its strategic partners to lay the foundations for joint voluntary and community work.
HCT was a strategic partner of Al Furdah Hands initiative, as they provided food and drinks to fasting motorists at sunset. A number of students volunteered in this by preparing and packing these light meals at Dubai Customs’ main building at Rashid Port. They also helped distribute meals to laborers at the Higher Colleges of Technology – Dubai Women’s Campus as part of an initiative launched by Dubai Customs.
The Higher Colleges of Technology in Dubai also honored Dubai Customs as one of its strategic partners during the celebration of the founding father’s anniversary. The honouring was in recognition of Dubai Customs’ volunteer and CSR efforts. Fouad Al-Shihi, head of Ghayath Volunteer Team, and Abeer Ismail, CSR Officer were honoured.
