Struggling to sleep? Maybe Harry Styles reading you a bedtime story in a pair of Gucci PJs will help

Sorry, but is there nothing that Harry Styles can’t do? Last month he was headlining Coachella in a sequinned three-piece (#neverforget), earlier this week he released his brand new album (we’ll get to that in a minute) and now he’s reading soothing bedtime stories to children (and, let’s face it, a hell of a lot of adults, too) while sitting in a matching pyjama set and oversized fluffy slippers. We can’t say it’s the sartorial move we expected from the singer, but then again, nothing the former One Directioner does now surprises us.

Anyway, back to the bedtime story…

Our Hazza can now be seen reading In Every House, On Every Street, written by Jess Hitchman and illustrated by Lili la Baleine, in the latest of episode of CBeebies Bedtime Stories which aired yesterday (23 May).

The story is a heartwarming celebration of homes and the different families that live in them (Hugh, honestly, we’re sold already), and is part of the long-running series that airs each weekday at 6.50pm on the CBeebies channel and is also available on BBC iPlayer (thank gawddd).

We know that the star has only just released his latest album, Harry’s House (which obv received huge critical acclaim) but we can never have too many outlets through which to hear the dulcet tones of Cheshire’s finest.

Introducing the bedtime story, Harry says: “Tonight’s bedtime story is about a house full of love and laughter,” – AKA our ultimate wish for ourselves – and, in words we thought we’d never personally hear from the singer says, “welcome to my house.”

And let’s face it, there’s no one’s house that we’d rather be welcomed to right now.

Harry’s story follows many other celebrities and their tales that have been featured on the programme in the past year, including Bridgerton’s own Regé-Jean Page, Tom Hiddleston, Ellie Goulding, Dave Grohl and Rose Ayling-Ellis who signed her story in British Sign Language.

You can watch Harry Styles’ episode on BBC iPlayer here, as well as all the other celebrity-read bedtime stories. We’ve never been so eager to get into bed…
