Zoya Akhtar is all set to present the next gen of Bollywood actors with her upcoming musical The Archies. It marks the debut of 3 star kids, Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, Boney Kapoor and Sridevi’s daughter Khushi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda. The film is already quite in news for its stellar cast and currently the team is in Brazil for the Netflix Tudum fan event.

Suhana, Khushi, Agastya set for first performance with The Archies gang

At Tudum 2023 in Brazil, The Archies gang will be giving their first public performance. Apart from Suhana, Khushi and Agastya, the other cast members are Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, Yuvraj Menda and Dot. Zoya has also accompanied the young brigade in Brazil.

On Saturday, the official Instagram account of The Archies put up images of the gang at the event. Zoya and his cast look super ecstatic interacting with the people. The excitement on all their faces is just so palpable and they look super happy ahead of their performance.

The whole cast is rocking vintage looks as The Archies is set in the 60s. Their outfits in Brazil also complement that setting. The caption of the post shares that the performance will be streaming live on Netflix India’s YouTube channel. It will take place on June 18 at 2 AM by Indian Standard Time.

The gang left for Brazil on June 13

Zoya’s team of these young actors left for Brazil on Tuesday for Tudum global fan fest. The event is taking place from June 16-18, 2023. Their performance in Brazil would be their first ever together. Going by the first look of the show that came out, the camaraderie between them all will be worth watching.

Zoya’s musical is an Indian adaptation of Archie comics, set in Riverdale. The musical will have a direct-to-digital release on Netflix. While no release date has yet been finalised, The Archies will hit the OTT medium this year itself.
