A fan recently met Wyatt and he looked in jacked shape which indicated physical training sessions for a return. Then insider source BWE wrote the following on Twitter about his possible return at SummerSlam 2023.

“Bray has been around few times. His plans are there for his return. A feud suggested and approved by everyone. It’s only a call of ‘when’. The discussion is for SummerSlam. So I’d keep an eye on one of the main events of that night.”
Xero News provided a follow-up on the news stating that Wyatt could interfere in one of the top SummerSlam match: Roman Reigns vs. Jey Uso; Brock Lesnar vs. Cody Rhodes or Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor to begin a fresh feud.
However, Ringside News reached out to confirm these earlier reports about The Eater of the World and they were told by a tenured member of the creative team that all these stories were simply “rumours.”
WWE creative team has reportedly not confirmed Bray Wyatt to be on the company’s internal roster and that being said, his comeback is still not being discussed. In what appears to be a major rumour killer, there are no SummerSlam 2023 plans reserved for him.
The former leader of the Wyatt family was scheduled to face Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 39 in April. Due to some personal undisclosed issues, he went into a hiatus and the match got canceled.
After Wyatt missed the biggest event of the year, WWE hasn’t mentioned Wyatt since March on TV. He first broke the silence on Twitter after 3 months to pay his respects to the recently passed away The Iron Sheik.
During Wyatt’s hiatus, his real-life brother Bo Dallas who plays the role of Uncle Howdy has also not been used on WWE TV. WWE did an angle at Royal Rumble 2023 featuring these two and Alexa Bliss but even the latter went into a hiatus due to pregnancy.
That being said, it’s safe to say that the much-anticipated return of Bray Wyatt isn’t happening at the 2023 SummerSlam premium live event that takes place at the Ford Field in Detroit Michigan on August 5.
