Playstation has released a Christmas trailer for their game Summertime Madness. The game shows a few of the settings in the game, while having a Christmas theme for the holidays.
The trailer begins by offering you some “summer vibes from painted island” while it’s getting cold outside during the winter. We then get to see some of the environments in the game, while also seeing how it could change. We see a forest, and a ship that’s in the middle of it, then we can see a lighthouse suddenly rising from the ground.
We can also see an area of many bridges, with a giant crescent moon in the background, and the bridges are able to spin. We also see a doorway leading to a mysterious place with two scales, and a city at night. The trailer ends with wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Summertime Madness is a first person puzzle game, where you take control of a painter in Prague during July 1954, who has made a deal with the devil. He was cheated in the deal, and is now trapped in one of his canvases. He must now escape the canvas before midnight, or else he will be trapped in the painting forever. The island itself is constantly evolving as you try to make your way through it.
You will notice things like the appearance of the ship changing, a lighthouse rising, and much more as you discover new things and solve the game’s puzzles. There are also many hidden secrets you can find throughout the canvas setting.
Summertime Madness is coming to Playstation on January 26. You can check out the Christmas themed trailer below.
