Mamelodi Sundowns have sent a strong message to fellow CAF Women’s Champions League opponents with a 5-0 win over Wadi Degla on Thursday.

Banyana Ba Style went into this encounter on the back of a 2-1 win over Bayelsa Queens in a match played two days ago.
And they needed a big performance to show that they are the defending CAF Women’s Champions League champs.

Jerry Tshabalala’s charges did exactly that by racing to a 2-0 after both Lelona Daweti and Melinda Kgadiete found the back of the net in the first half.
Boitumelo Rabale then netted a second half brace, first scoring in the 58th minute before netting her second goal of the night in the 64th minute to make it 4-0 to Sundowns.

Bambanani Mbane then rounded the rout off with a 75th minute strike to give Sundowns the 5-0 win over Wadi Degla.
