Sunny Deol Chup release date: Chup, starring Sunny Deol and Dulquer Salmaan, is scheduled to hit theatres on September 23. Chup: The Revenge of the Artist, R Balki’s film, which he both wrote and directed, has a particular place in his life. The movie, which is billed as a tribute to legendary director Guru Dutt and his 1959 film Kaagaz Ke Phool, also serves as the megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s musical composition debut.
Speaking about the film, Director R Balki said, “Amitabh Bachchan makes his formal debut as a music composer with Chup. As he relived the movie, Amitji saw Chup and instinctively composed original music for his piano. It was his way of paying homage to the movie and expressing how he felt about it. The Chup end title track will use this composition, which he gave to the movie. There isn’t likely to be any artist with a sensitivity that can match Bachchan’s, and Chup has his touch.”
Dulquer shared a motion poster on his Twitter handle to make the announcement. In his post, Dulquer Salmaan wrote, “Here we go !!!”
