During the Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets Western Conference Semifinals Game 3 matchup at Footprint Center on Sunday, owner Matt Ishbia made headlines.
While All-Star Nikola Jokic was trying to retrieve the ball from the crowd, Ishbia appeared to flop a hard push by Jokic, which quickly went viral on social media.
After the Suns defeated the Nuggets to even the series behind the impressive play of Kevin Durant and Devin Booker, the owner broke his silence on the incident.
“Great win for the Suns last night in an amazing series so far! That should be and is the only story. Suspending or fining anyone over last nights incident would not be right. I have alot of respect for Jokic and don’t want to see anything like that. Excited for game 5! Go Suns!”

It will be interesting to see if Jokic faces more punishment.
