Sydney Evan And The Surf Lodge Unveil A Collection Of Summertime Jewels

Fine jewelry brand, Sydney Evan, and Jayma Cardoso, founder and creative director of The Surf Lodge in Montauk, have teamed up to create a collection of jewelry to mark the 15th anniversary of the popular hotel and restaurant as summer is set to begin at the Hamptons.

The “SE x The Surf Lodge” collection is designed to reflect the best qualities of the two brands by capturing their shared essence of good vibes, relaxation and a laissez-faire lifestyle, according to both brands. The designs include two diamond necklaces from Sydney Evan’s “Script” collection that fittingly say “Surf” and “Montauk.” Rosanne Karmas, founder and designer of Sydney Evan launched the Script “love” collection in 2008.

In addition, the collection includes a diamond surfboard charm, along with a diamond “Surf” available in 14k gold or African opal beaded bracelets.

“It was a total honor to partner with Jayma for such a milestone occasion,” Karmas said in a statement. “I’ve always created jewelry for the strong, independent, and dynamic woman, and she is the absolute embodiment of that. Fifteen years in business is a massive accomplishment, and we are thrilled to help celebrate.”

Sydney Evan and The Surf Lodge both have several a-list followings, including Emma Roberts, Eva Longoria, Nina Agdal, Rocky Barnes and Miley Cyrus.

The anniversary collaboration is exclusively available for sale at The Surf Lodge’s boutique and on the Sydney Evan website.

Karmes founded Sydney Evan in Los Angeles in 2001, where she pioneered the often-replicated fine beaded bracelet by updating it 2005 with personal and spiritual charm trends. She also was one of the early jewelers who recognized the need for creating jewels for women who wanted to purchase their own pieces.

The Surf Lodge hotel and restaurant opened in 2008 by Cardoso, who has gained a reputation in the hospitality industry by opening a number of high-profile nightlife establishments in New York, including CAIN, GoldBar and Lavo. Over the years The Surf Lodge became one of the most exclusive destination in the Hamptons. It is best known for its live concert series featuring world-class musicians such as John Legend, Jimmy Buffet, Willie Nelson, Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean and Rüfüs Du Sol. In 2019, The Surf Lodge expanded, opening a winter destination, The Snow Lodge, in Aspen.
