Sydney Sweeney Just Made Ballerina Glam a Thing on the Red Carpet

The 11th annual LACMA Art + Film Gala brought out the theatrical side of Sydney Sweeney on the purple carpet. It began with her Giambattista Valli Couture dress, ruffled and covered in blush-hued rosettes from the shoulders down to the cuffs of her voluminous sleeves. Sweeney, took to Instagram on November 6 and captioned her set of photos from the gala, “Last night, feeling Haute.”

Her carpet appearance brought the spotlight to her pristine side-swept ballerina bun done by hairstylist Glen Coco Oropeza and a set of faux lashes that makeup artist Melissa Hernandez carefully adhered along Sweeney’s lower lash line.

Her ballerina glamour was soft, romantic, and ethereal. Hernandez flushed Sweeney’s cheeks with pink blush, and for the eyes she gave Sweeney a delicate eyeliner wing, white and pastel pink eye shadow along the crescent of the eyelids, and white eyeliner pencil along the waterline as well.

On the night of the gala, Saturday, November 5, Sweeney shared a sneak peek of how her ballerina nail look would unfold on her Instagram story prior to arriving on the purple carpet. She gave an opulent teaser of her manicure, for which nail artist Zola Ganzorigt adorned Sweeney’s nails with a blush-pink cat-eye nail design and American manicure detailing along the tips of her almond-shaped nails.
