Sydney Sweeney looked positively bionic on her most recent red carpet

Sci-fi aside, I’m reminded of her Euphoria costar Zendaya’s Tom Ford breastplate moment at the Critic’s Choice Awards in 2020.

Don’t these things… hurt? Or is there a special kind of sticky padding that Hollywood It girls use, and if so, can they please post about it?

Another place Sweeney’s look would have fit right in was at the 2016 Met Gala, where the theme was “Manus x Machina: Fashion in the Age of Technology” (also the night Taylor Swift met Tom Hiddleston…and Joe Alwyn…but that’s a TBT for another time). Like, tell me Sweeney isn’t channelling Gigi Hadid’s look from that carpet:

In March, Sydney Sweeney told us that she still gets nervous before every red carpet, explaining, “If I’m not feeling the carpet, I just tell myself it’s a picture, and it’ll be hopefully gone in 24 hours.
I get nervous before every carpet because I get nervous when I have to be Syd. I feel more confident when I’m different characters because people are judging the characters and not me.
I get nervous before every single one, so I kind of pretend to be different characters when I go onto these carpets and do it that way.”

This is understandable. But Syd, if you’re reading this, you and your stylist knocked it out of the park. Sexy, fashion-y, sophisticated!
