Sydney Sweeney Wore a Very Cassie Manicure to the Met Gala

Contrary to her unhinged character on Euphoria, Cassie, Sydney Sweeney is the epitome of class in real life. Her red carpet style is especially gorgeous — we have loved her curtain bangs, her self-designed press-on nails, and her recent red hair — and we respect the attention that she pays to detail.

Of course, Sweeney couldn’t disappoint at her first Met Gala on May 2, either. Looking like a literal princess in a strapless white gown with a train just a bit shorter than the one from Princess Diana’s wedding dress, she aimed for elevated simplicity for her beauty look.

But our favorite part has to be those nails. Pastel pink and covered in glamorous rhinestones, her medium-length oval-shaped nails went with the gilded glamour theme perfectly. This manicure might actually be our new all-time favorite of hers. So, naturally, when her nail artist, Zola Ganzorigt, posted the product breakdown on Instagram after her look debuted, we were over here taking notes.

First, Ganzorigt used the OPI GelColor Stay Classic Base Coat, then she applied two coats of OPI GelColor in the shade It’s a Girl!. Afterward, she painted a thin layer of OPI GelColor in Depth Leopard, and then OPI’s GelColor Stay Shiny Top Coat. The very last step was placing the jewels on top, using OPI’s Axxium Clear Sculpting Gel.
