Tamannaah Bhatia’s performance in the web series Jee Karda on Prime Video was so captivating that audiences were eagerly awaiting her next project, Lust Stories 2. When the film began streaming on Netflix, the internet was flooded with clips of Bhatia’s steamy scenes. However, it is interesting to note that Bhatia herself used to feel “uncomfortable watching sex scenes” in films.
Tamannaah Bhatia recalls being “uncomfortable” watching sex scenes on screen; says, “That illusion has broken for me”
In a conversation, the Baahubali actress asserted, “I was that audience that would get awkward sitting with my family, sitting and watching something like that. I would start looking around, I would start fidgeting or be uncomfortable and for a large part of my career, I didn’t do any intimacy in my movies or in anything that I showcased.”
Speaking on coming out of her comfort zone, the Entertainment actress added, “So for me, it was a journey from being an actor who caters to a massier audience to now doing stuff that, growing up for me, was a stigma. I just don’t want that to happen to the audience now cause they don’t need that anymore. That illusion has broken for me, so I am enjoying exploring myself as an artist and doing varied characters and work.”
Coming back to Lust Stories 2, Tamannaah shares screen space with her boyfriend and actor Vijay Varma in Sujiy Ghosh’s segment in the anthology. The film, released on June 29, is streaming on Netflix. The ensemble star cast of the film in the rest of the three segments includes Amruta Shubhash, Angad Bedi, Kajol, Kumud Mishra, Mrunal Thakur, Neena Gupta, and Tillotama Shome.
