BCCI had announced in a release that Dream11, India’s biggest fantasy sports gaming platform is Team India’s lead sponsor for the period of three years. Dream11 will replace BYJU’s, who ended their contract with the BCCI in March 2023.
The release also added that Dream11 will be seen on Team India jerseys starting from the Test series against the West Indies, the team’s first assignment in the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 cycle.
Before the India tour of West Indies gets underway with the Test series, some pictures of the players sporting the jersey with the dream11 logo were leaked on Social Media and fans reacted hilariously to the red logo on a blue themed top.
While some fans called it ugly, some questioned if it was Team India or Team Dream11 that will take the field. Nevertheless, the fans don’t seem thrilled with new kit as they preferred the plain kit worn during the World Test Championship (WTC) final last month.
Best of luck Dream11 team for WI series.

One fan also pointed out that the crowd, who buy the jersey from Adidas will look better than the poor players with the big red logo on the torso, while some fans also said BCCI has made betting legal now.

Shame on @BCCI, they destroyed such a decent Jersey.
Betting app as a sponsor????— Cheems Bond (@Cheems_Bond_007) July 11, 2023
Only @BCCI can make an @adidas Jersey look into something bought in Palikka Bazaar. In fact, the latter looks comparatively original.

Coloured sponsorship on test jersey ? Just looks ridiculous and idk why @BCCI is promoting rummy and betting apps at such a big level, these apps are cancer for the nation#bettingapps #IndianCricketTeam #rummy #BCCI #starsports #ViratKohli #RohitSharma #IPL pic.twitter.com/AlmWwFqBXw
