20 100% Completion

One of the first things that comes to a player’s mind after completing a game is to 100% complete it. This means that you have done everything that the game has to offer. To do this, you must have all the side quests, side adventures, and all other quest-like things completed. Then you will need to find all the Korok Seeds, complete all the Shrines, and fill the entire Compendium.

Thankfully, if you pull up your map, you can see the percentage of the game you have completed. In order to see this, you must first beat the Demon King Ganon for the final time. Then, you will see the percentage appear at the bottom right of your map. It shows the percentage, time, temperature, and coordinates.

19 Visit All Wells

During your time exploring Hyrule, you may come across an NPC who asks you to show them all the wells in Hyrule. In order to do this, you will need to visit every single well in the game and report back to the NPC.

There are 58 wells in total scattered around the game. Unfortunately, the item you receive for completing this isn’t amazing; however, you can find some great stuff in wells. For example, some wells may contain Fairies.

18 Collect All Schematics

Throughout The Depths, you will come across countless Yiga Clan Hideouts. Each of these hideouts contains one Yiga Schematic that can be used by Link to create Autobuild vehicles and items to use during the game.

There is a total of 34 of these Yiga Schematics scattered around The Depths. If you want to have some amazing Autobuilds, these are a requirement. They will give you some amazing things to play around with.

17 Unlock All Great Fairy Fountains

While out exploring Hyrule, you have probably come across the many different pods that litter the kingdom. Inside these pods are the Great Fairies. You want to make sure that you find all 4 pods and coax the Great Fairies out of hiding.

Once you do that, they will be available to help Link enhance his armor. This is the only way that armor can be enhanced, so it is extremely important that you unlock these if you want to have some great defense.

16 Complete Mini-Games

There are a total of 13 mini-games scattered around Hyrule that Link can take part in. While most of these require an entry fee of around 20 Rupees, they are all worth it in the end. Not only can they be fun, but they also allow you to be creative.

Out of the 13 mini-games, there are some that are extremely fun. No matter what type of game you’re in the mood for, chances are you can find a mini-game that matches that mood. Some of these games can be found in multiple places around the map.

15 Discover New Recipes

One of the most interesting things the game lets you do is cook. You can create some amazing recipes by experimenting with the many resources you obtain over the course of the game. Some resources will make amazing dishes, while others will make horrible ones.

14 Collect Paraglider Fabrics

As of now, there are 50 obtainable Paraglider Fabrics that are known and 2 that are not available to players just yet. Many believe these 2 unavailable ones prove that 2 new Amiibo will release soon.

There are 20 fabrics you can obtain from quests, 22 you can obtain from Amiibo, and 8 you can obtain from taking reference pictures for Sayge. You’ll have a lot of work if you want to obtain all 50 Paraglider Fabrics.

13 Find All Caves

Finding caves is a pretty important activity. Every cave has a Bubbulfrog that will drop a Bubbul Gem. These can be used to obtain interesting rewards. You can get different monster masks, Monster Parts, and even pieces of the Mystic Armor set.

While finding all caves may seem daunting, there’s an easy way to do it. You can find Cherry Blossom Trees around Hyrule. These trees have small baskets to place an offering in. Putting fruit in these baskets will cause Satori to appear. They will then light up all caves in the region for you for around 25 minutes.

12 Defeat Bosses

One of the best parts of any game is learning to defeat the many bosses that are scattered throughout the game. Thankfully, this game doesn’t stop at just the main bosses you’ll encounter throughout your time in Hyrule.

You can find tons of overworld bosses scattered around the game. From King Gleeoks to Silver Lynels, there is no shortage of bosses to fight and destroy. You can even reface these bosses every time there is a Blood Moon.

11 Do Side Quests

One of the more obvious things to do after completing the game is to do the many side quests that are scattered around the world. There are 139 side quests you need to complete and 60 side adventures if you want to 100% your game.

10 Complete The Hyrule Compendium

Completing the Hyrule Compendium is a very daunting feat. You will need to take pictures of all the monsters, creatures, plants, animals, meals, weapons, etc., in order to complete this quest and compendium.

9 Experiment With The Fusion Ability

One of the most exciting parts about this game is the new Fusion Ability. It allows you to create some amazing weapons and arrow combinations. It also allows you to create some great fusion vehicles you can use to get around the map.

This ability is one of the best in the game. Players have been able to make the game their own with the whacky and fun inventions that they have created. You can do the same as well; who knows what you could build.

8 Max Out Your Zonai Battery

While experimenting with the Fusion Ability is fun, you need Zonai Battery if you want to do anything with the fusion vehicles you create. Adding more Zonai Batteries to your arsenal will allow you to use these items for large amounts of time.

7 Find All Sage’s Wills

One interesting mechanic added during this game is that you can now upgrade your Sages. There are 20 Sage’s Wills scattered around the Sky Islands. After collecting 4, you can upgrade a Sage. This means that there’s just enough to upgrade all Sages once.

6 Collect The Six Monster Medals

Another fun activity players can do after beating the game is to collect the 6 Monster Medals. In the last game, you could get Medals of Honor from Koltin for killing all monsters of a certain type in the game. These work the same way.

After speaking to the Monster-Control Crew in the Emergency Shelter in Lookout Landing, you can begin this quest. You will need to kill all Gleeoks, Flux Constructs, Hinox, Moldugas, Frox, and Stone Taluses in the game. Here’s a list of the number of each monster.

  • 14 Gleeoks
  • 35 Flux Constructs
  • 69 Hinox
  • 4 Moldugas
  • 40 Frox
  • 87 Stone Taluses

5 Find All Korok Seeds

This is another task that may take you some time to complete. There are 1,000 Korok Seeds scattered around the Kingdom of Hyrule. This is 100 more than what was in Breath of the Wild. Thankfully, some puzzles will give you multiple seeds, but it will still take forever.

One item that can help you on your journey to saving Hestu’s little Korok Seeds is the Korok Mask. This can be obtained in the Forest Coliseum in The Depths and will shake anytime you are around a needy Korok.

4 Collect And Enhance Armor Sets

There are over 30 sets of armor and over 20 pieces of individual armor for players to collect within the game. With this many pieces, it can be extremely difficult to find them all, even with the help of Misko’s Treasure quests and Old Maps. Thankfully, here is a list of the best sets, so you can find those first.

After you enhance an entire armor set to level 2, you may obtain a special bonus ability that wasn’t there before. For instance, if you enhance the Glide Armor setup so each piece is level 2, you will gain the Impact Proof Ability. This ensures you don’t lose health no matter how high you fell from.

3 Complete All Shrines

While Breath of the Wild saw 120 Shrines, Tears of the Kingdom has an additional 32 Shrines. Overall, you can find 152 Shrines in the game. Thankfully, if you find a Lightroot in The Depths, you can be sure there is a Shrine directly above it. This can help you find 120 of the Shrines.

2 Find All Geoglyphs

While this is something you should definitely do before completing the game, if you haven’t already done it, you need to do it as soon as possible. The Geoglyphs may not seem like much, but they are hiding some of the game’s best memories.

Overall, you can find 11 Geoglyphs. After you find the 11th, a 12th Tear of the Dragon will appear on the map. This means that while there are only 11 Geoglyphs, there are 12 Tears of the Dragon. If you need help locating them all, check out this guide.

1 Explore The Depths

The best thing to do after beating the game is to explore The Depths. While some players don’t like this area, it actually holds some amazing secrets. You can find tons of armor sets and weapons down here. You can also fight in Coliseums for special prizes. Another surprise is that you can refight all the Temple bosses again.
