Hasanal Arifin, 19, found out the hard way when he hopped over a fence at the Kasang Kulim Zoo in Indonesia in an effort to taunt the resident orangutan who wasn’t impressed, according to Newsflare, reports the New York Post.

As captured on an scary video with more than millions and millions of views on Twitter alone, the primate grabbed Ariflin by his T-shirt and pulled him toward the cage before eventually grabbing his legs and almost flipping him over.

“The visitor wanted to take a video (and) create content without permission,” an upset zookeeper, identified as Ides, told Newsflare.

“He crossed the safety distance barrier. This is very dangerous and violates the rules. We have already reprimanded the man. Please take the rules seriously.”

We apologize, but this video has failed to load.

The India Times says orangutans are generally not aggressive towards humans but can be five to seven times stronger.

“This was idiotic, stupid behavior,” Ides told Newsflare. “It also put himself and others in great danger. I have reminded staff to ensure that no visitors have the chance to do this again.”

Arifin, who was immediately thrown out of the zoo after the incident, broke into the animal’s enclosure when staffers were on a lunch break and was lucky to not suffer any injuries.

A passerby saved him by managing to calm the primate down until the zoo staff arrived.
