Fisker Ocean price, availability in India (expected)
The Fisker Ocean electric SUV is a premium offering and the car commands a price tag of €69,950 in Germany. The California-based EV company claims to align its prices in India with the European counterparts which could translate to about Rs 64.5 lakh. However, with taxes and logistics, this price could shoot well above Rs 1 crore very easily.
The Fisker Ocean SUV is expected to receive homologation from Indian authorities by September and the EV is expected to be delivered in Q4 2023. The Fisker Ocean will compete with the BMW iX, Audi e-tron and Jaguar i-Pace luxury electric SUVs in India.

- Other features include a 17.1-inch revolving touchscreen infotainment system, camera-based rear-view mirror, powered tailgate, 3D surround sound system, front and rear heated seats, 360-degree cameras, ADAS features and drives modes.
The EV maker could aim to reduce the cost of this luxury SUV and other such products from its portfolio in the future if it manages to set up a battery and vehicle assembly plant in India. The company is likely to seek government assistance for the same. CEO Henrik Fisker on the topic said, “India offers exciting opportunities for us, and we plan to grow our brand rapidly over the coming years.”
