Afghanistan wicketkeeper-batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz was the latest to join the bandwagon and got lucky too as he got a signed Chennai Super Kings (CSK) jersey sent by Dhoni on Tuesday.
Even the legendary Indian batter Sunil Gavaskar had his shirt signed by the two-time world cup winning captain after a match during the 16th edition of the IPL.
Gurbaz took to Twitter to share a picture of a CSK jersey sent by Dhoni as a gift. “Thanks @msdhoni sir for sending the gift all the way from india,” wrote Gurbaz.
Gurbaz represented Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) during IPL 2023 and played a couple of good knocks, scoring 227 runs in 11 innings at a strike-rate of 133.52 including a couple of fifties.
The right-handed batter was part of Gujarat Titans in IPL 2022 before being traded to KKR this year.
