At the Brooklyn Navy Yard last night, the designer presented his resort 2024 collection to a crowd that included Teyana Taylor, Quinta Brunson, Ashley Graham, Aquaria, and many more—most donning his signature rainbow creations, as is business as usual chez CJR. The event was one in a weekend full of parties, cocktails, and openings, all looking to capitalize on the Met Gala tomorrow, but as a guest said as we waited for the show to start, “even in the rain, this is the one you couldn’t miss.” You’ve seen the models strut down the runway, now here’s a closer look at the collection backstage, as photographed by Hunter Abrams.
