Take Dua Lipa, who attended designer Simon Porte Jacquemus’s wedding in France this weekend wearing his sheer white gown with subtle floral embroidery. It was a design so pretty it could even be a wedding dress. Equally enchanting was the sequinned, zebra stripe Halpern gown that singer Shania Twain to receive an award at the The Academy Of Country Music Honors in Nashville, Tennessee—an elevated nod to her flashy country-pop roots.
Statement prints also commanded attention this week. At the premiere of her new film Adopting Audrey in L.A., Jena Malone rocked Prada’s floral turtleneck, pairing it with a high-waisted pleated skirt and thick belt. At the Clerks III premiere in Hollywood, Rosario Dawson slipped into a printed green sundress by Studio 189—the artisan-focused label she co-founded.
