The Best Jewelry At The Critic’s Choice Awards

Awards season continues with the 2023 Critic’s Choice Awards. The red carpet was brimming with A-list celebrities in jewels that continued the trends of the 2022 holiday season and that evolved from the direction we saw at the 80^th Golden Globes Awards, which was held this past week. (See here)

The Critic’s Choice awards brought back more fun and alluring earrings—let the earring party continue!—statement necklaces and fingers full of rings. While diamonds still abound as the stars of the evening—there were more colored stones in all jewelry categories than we saw at the Globes. They may be the classics: rubies, emeralds and sapphires, but they added dimension to the timeless jewels. A range of bracelets also stole the spotlight when you could see them: Cate Blanchett in Louis Vuitton’s wide cuff with gemstones and Natasha Lyonne once again wore a spectacular bracelet by David Webb.
