The ‘Bridgerton’ spin-off has the most outrageous sex scene yet

The Netflix hit “Bridgerton” now has a spin-off show, so that means there will be ball gowns, old-fashioned romance and, yes – lots of sex.

As it turns out, “Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story” has the most outrageous and salacious scene yet.

Spoilers ahead for Episode 3 of “Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.”

Now streaming, “Queen Charlotte” is a “Bridgerton” prequel about the title character.

The parent show, “Bridgerton,” which is the most-watched show in Netflix history, has two seasons and has been renewed through Season 4.

The Shonda Rhimes historical romance series (that launched Regé-Jean Page into stardom) is set in Regency era England and each season follows a different sibling in the titular family as they find love and fall between the sheets. Queen Charlotte (Golda Rosheuvel) is the monarch who presides over everything.

The show quickly became notorious for its steamy R-rated scenes. One fan even claimed that she got pregnant because of the show.

“The Duke especially got me really hot under the collar — and then my husband got to enjoy the benefits in the bedroom,” she said, referring to Page’s character.

In the prequel series, a younger version of Queen Charlotte is played by India Amarteifio. The story follows young Charlotte as she reluctantly enters into an arranged marriage to the hunky-yet-troubled King George (Corey Mylchreest). The couple are strangers, and they must find a way to make their relationship work. (They have around 15 children in the “Bridgerton” era, so they found a way).

However, the most outrageous sex scene in “Queen Charlotte” comes from a subplot about a familiar side character.

“Queen Charlotte” also follows the early days of the confident and sharp-tongued Lady Agatha Danbury. In “Bridgerton,” she’s played by Adjoa Andoh. In “Queen Charlotte,” the younger version of the character is played by Arsema Thomas.

She’s trapped in a loveless marriage to a much older man, Lord Danbury (Cyril Nri). Several scenes show her just lying there, not enjoying the act.

In the third episode of “Queen Charlotte,” a sex scene between them begins as business as usual — he’s going to town while she looks bored and uncomfortable. He’s also doing the deed from behind, so she can’t see him. When he stops abruptly, a confused Agatha pauses and asks, “My Lord? My Lord, have you … finished?”

There’s a loud “thud” sound, and Agatha turns around to discover that he’s keeled over, dead.

That’s right, “Bridgerton” went there. Somebody dies mid-coitus.

There’s plenty of other steamy parts in “Queen Charlotte,” including some LGBTQ scenes between two male servants.

When “Bridgerton” Season 2 premiered, viewers were complaining that it didn’t have as much sex as they had come to expect from the show.

“[I have] deep feelings of betrayal and unfulfilled expectations,” Bridget Chun, 35, a “Bridgerton” fan and the host of the “Romance at a Glance” podcast, told The Post about her disappointment with the lack of action in the season.

“In Season 1, the first person you see have sex is Anthony. The sex is … wonderful. So in Season 2, I expected, nay, I needed him to give it to Kate,” she said.

Fans complained about the lack of hanky-panky in “Bridgerton” Season 2, but it’s back in “Queen Charlotte.”

“He says in one of the episodes, ‘Oh, the things I could teach you.’ But then, he never teaches her anything. All we get is a montage … I was deeply unhappy.”

There’s plenty of hanky-panky in “Queen Charlotte, including that outrageous death scene.

This time around, fans shouldn’t be left feeling unfulfilled.
