One bad report came on Sunday regarding the future status of Lonzo Ball.
The Chicago Bulls point guard missed this season with a knee injury.
While talking on the Organizations Win Championships podcast, Dan Bernstein said Ball could also miss next year and beyond.
“The Chicago Bulls privately don’t think that it’s likely Lonzo Ball will ever play again,” he said.

Ball, 25, signed a four-year, $85 million contract extension with the Bulls via a sign-and-trade with the New Orleans Pelicans in 2021 free agency.
Last season the Bulls, who 40-42 during the regular season, missed Ball’s presence on the court. The former No.2 overall pick is a floor general that can get everyone involved offensively with his passing skills while knocking down shots from long distance.
During his time with the Los Angeles Lakers, Pelicans, and Bulls, Ball has career averages of 11.9 points, 6.2 assists, 5.7 rebounds on 40 percent shooting from the field and 36.4 percent from deep.
