The Castilla y León Regional Sports Games will be held in Ponferrada from this Friday, June 9, to Sunday, June 11.

The event of the Federation of Adapted Sports of Castilla y León (Fedeacyl) will have more than 150 participants from all parts of the community to enjoy one of the most traditional competitions on the regional calendar.

“This is a special championship, first, because we recovered normality after the last one, still wearing a mask, and because it is an event that, as its name indicates, alternates different sports that make it very colorful and entertaining,” explains the president of Fedeacyl, Federico Martinez.

The Multi-Sports Games present four disciplines that will be held at different venues in the capital of Berciana: inclusive basketball, paddle tennis, petanque and bowling.

The Lydia Valentín Pavilion and the Flores del Sil Pavilion will host the basket sport matches -a discipline in which Castilian and Leonese players have always excelled at a national level-; while the slopes of El Temple Park will be used to celebrate the petanque competition. Both competitions will start this Friday.

The rest of the competitions will take place in the Padel Indoor 2.0 pitas and in the Flash Bowling Alley.
