The Los Angeles Clippers have one of the most talented rosters in the league.
But they have been unable to stay healthy, especially their stars, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. Both were mainly unavailable during their playoff run, creating discussion this offseason on whether the team should split the pairing.
It seems the team will move forward with the All-Stars as head coach Ty Lue talked to them about approaching the regular season differently, starting in 2023.
“I told Kawhi and PG..let’s be serious about the regular season,” he said while appearing on Showtime basketball.

Leonard, 32, played less than 55 games during the regular season. George, 33, suited up for less than 60 games. Overall, the Clippers finished with a 44-38 record for the fifth seed in the Western Conference behind the Phoenix Suns. Based on the talent on the roster, that record and seeding is far below expectations for the franchise.
It makes sense that Lue wants his team to take the regular season more seriously, starting in 2023.
