The Damned will release new album ‘Darkadelic’ on 28th April 2023 via earMUSIC it has been announced.
The set will be the band’s first since 2018’s ‘Evil Spirits’ and it arrives 46 years after their debut ‘Damned Damned Damned’. ‘Darkadelic’ finds the legendary band evolving and expanding upon their unique universe and features some of The Damned’s sharpest song writing and genre-bending performances.

Alongside Dave Vanian, Captain Sensible, Paul Gray and Monty Oxymoron, William Granville-Taylor joins the band on drums.
Today, the band release the first single from ‘Darkadelic’, ‘The Invisible Man’, along with the video directed by Martin Gooch. You can watch the video at the top of this article.
‘Darkadelic’ will be released on CD Digipak, 1LP Black Vinyl(Gatefold, 180g), Ltd. 1LP Transparent Vinyl including ‘Darkadelic’ Slipmat (Gatefold, 180g) and digitally. Several exclusive items, such as signed art prints, t-shirts and tote bags will be available via the official shop.
After touring the US with Blondie in 2022, The Damned return to the road with a European and UK tour starting 3rd March in Paris. They just announced a second show in London at the Alexandra Palace Theatre on 21st April 21st, tickets on sale from today, Friday 3rd February at 10am.
