Keeping busy. The Hills alum Lo Bosworth exclusively invited Us Weekly to get a glimpse at her daily routine — which looks a little different ahead of her upcoming book release.
According to Bosworth, 36, the idea for the book was conceived following the success of her company Love Wellness.
“I started Love Wellness in 2016. It was a result of these health issues that I was dealing with, and it was actually a result of vitamin deficiencies,” she explained to The Observer earlier this month. “Through expert guidance, researching and understanding a lot of really groundbreaking science, I came to understand that the gut, brain and vagina are connected.”
Bosworth added: “We call it the GBV axis. In the book, you’ll learn how the GBV axis is connected, how to eat, how to move and what products to detox to feel the way you deserve to in your body.”
Earlier this year, the former MTV personality broke down her journey to becoming a business owner.
“I moved to New York in early 2012. Gosh, I have been here for more than 10 years. So crazy. And when I moved to New York, I went to culinary school because I wanted to have a cooking food TV show [because] I love to cook,” she shared in a June TikTok video. “At culinary school I became really interested in nutrition and it was around that time that I started to become quite unwell. Depression, anxiety and yeast infections. It was like one thing after the other.”
Bosworth noted that the experience allowed her to “figure out what was wrong” with her health. “Very long story short, I was very disappointed by everything that I found at the drug store in 2015 when I was going through this really challenging time. It inspired me to create my business [Love Wellness],” she added.
The Lo Down author first rose to fame after appearing in MTV’s Laguna Beach, which aired from 2004 to 2006. One year later, Bosworth joined the spinoff series The Hills alongside Lauren Conrad, Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, Whitney Port, Kristin Cavallari and Audrina Patridge.
More than a decade after the hit show’s finale, Bosworth discussed at her current dynamic with Conrad, 36. “Yep [we are still friends]! I’ve lived on the east coast for more than 10 years so we don’t chat super frequently but definitely still friends ❤️,” the businesswoman revealed in June.
Love Yourself Well will be available on Tuesday, December 27.
