Hundred
Women’s
Competition
features
eight
teams
and
each
squad
had
to
fill
15
slots
in
three
stages,
the
retention
of
a
maximum
of
four
players,
then
34
players
picked
via
draft
picks
followed
by
the
open
market
picks,
which
is
after
the
draft.

rosters
will

filled
by

open
market
process,
similar
to
that
which

previously
been

for

women’s
recruitment

and

central
contract
players.

As
for
retentions,
Welsh
Fire
was
the
only
one
to
go
lower
than
four
as
they
retained
just
three.
India’s
Smriti
Mandhan
was
one
of
the
players
retained
by
Southern
Brave.

Fire,
who
further
lost
another
player
on
the
eve
of
the
draft,
finished
at
the
foot
of
the
table
in
2022
and
were
allowed
to
select
first
followed
by
Spirit,
Originals,
Superchargers,
Phoenix,
Rockets,
Brave
and
two-time
defending
champions
Invincibles.
