The Mandalorian is set to return for season 3 with Pedro Pascal’s Din Djarin reuniting with Grogu aka Baby Yoda. The new trailer by Disney teases Din Djarin and Grogu’s journey to Mandalore.

The Mandalorian is set to continue the adventures of Din Djarin (Pablo Pascal), a Mandalorian warrior. The Star Wars series is being led by Pedro Pascal as a lone Mandalorian gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy. The third season will take place following the events of The Book of Boba Fett, the Disney+ series which also starred Pedro Pascal’s character.
As Variety notes, Pascal returns as the galaxy’s notorious bounty hunter, with Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito and Katee Sackhoff also reprising their Mandalorian roles for the third season. Weathers portrays bounty hunter guild leader Greef Karga, while Esposito plays the villainous Moff Gideon and Sackhoff plays female Mandalorian Bo-Katan Kryze.
Christopher Lloyd is also confirmed to make a cameo the upcoming season. Other The Mandalorian cast to reprise include Amy Sedaris, Omid Abtahi, Bill Burr, Timothy Olyphant, Book of Boba Fett stars Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen, Titus Welliver and Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano.
The show’s official logline reads, “The journeys of the Mandalorian through the Star Wars galaxy continue. Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu. Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history. The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together.”
The series was created by Jon Favreau, who has written most of the season. Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito and Katee Sackhoff have been confirmed to reprise their roles in season 3.
