The red carpet was on fire at the Brit Awards 2023 – here all the most major looks

The Brit Awards have gifted us with many a red-carpet moment over the years, from Geri Halliwell’s iconic union jack mini dress back in 1997 to Dua Lipa’s Vivienne Westwood moment in 2021.

Lizzo, Wet Leg, and Harry Styles are all performing at the Brit Awards 2023, so we’re almost guaranteed a high-fashion spectacle. And with London Fashion Week just around the corner, all eyes are on the A-list to showcase the best of what British fashion has to offer.

Maya Jama, fresh from her new presenting gig on Love Island was one of the first arrivals, wearing ginormous, sun-shaped earrings to accessorize her black Schiaparelli number.

We also had to have a quick word with ourselves after Lizzo arrived in a custom Robert Wun gown, which exuded heavenly elegance, with an extravagant crystalised tudor frill.

Lizzo was soon followed by Jessie J, who took bump-baring-chic to the next level, wearing a crimson lace bodysuit with a next-level cut-out to show her baby bump – it’s a boy, BTW. Kamille later took to the red carpet wearing a turquoise hooded gown, which also had a strategic cut-out to celebrate her baby bump. And then Montana Brown got in on the trend, wearing a Lurelly wraparound dress. We love to see it.

Of course, an honourable mention goes to Sam Smith. They’ve been the target of all sorts of body-shaming rhetoric for their fashion choices lately. How better to respond to the haters than by wearing a giant latex balloon bodysuit?
