I was part of a Renaissance guild years ago and the guild master and mistress (leaders of the guild) through a winter get together at their home. There must have been thirty people there and probably twenty of us stayed the night. Lots of drinking and general merriment that lasted into the night.
I was twenty something and met a nice girl my age early in the evening. By the time we decided to get some sleep the only space available was in the middle of the living room floor. We had a single blanket and we’re surrounded by at least ten others already sleeping. We began messing around and soon the blanket was shed. Someone got up to use the bathroom and had to step over our writhing bodies. No one said anything. The next morning we overslept and woke to smirks and raised eyebrows.
