WHAT’S SO SPECIAL ABOUT IT?

Beerfarm has packed as much tropical fruit and citrus aromas and flavours as possible with the use of a single hop for their latest release of Azacca Vodou Haze.

The Metricup brewery produced the hazy pale ale specifically for craft beer haven Mane Liquor’s 12 Hops of Christmas box and it couldn’t have come at a better time with the summer weather kicking in.

Azacca, named after the Haitian god of agriculture and cultivated in America, is dry-hopped both early and late in fermentation to make it the star of the show.

A light malt bill with plenty of oats and wheat complements the Azacca hops.

Pouring a pale, slightly cloudy gold in colour, Azacca Vodou Haze delivers strong aromas and flavours of juicy mango, tropical fruits and citrus.

With only a mild bitterness, this is a smooth, refreshing hazy pale ale.

SHOULD I SHARE IT?

With a 5.4 per cent ABV, it makes for a great summer crusher and one worthy of sharing with mates.
