AN EXCLUSIVE Ibiza hotel in a stunning cove has been crowned the best value for money holiday resort in Spain – but Barcelona doesn’t even make the top ten.

The hotel ranks number one for Best Value out of 62 Spanish resorts on Tripadvisor, a list jam packed with stunning destinations.
Yet holidaymakers will be surprised to learn that the iconic city of Barcelona doesn’t make the top ten at all.
In fact, beachy getaways seem to have beaten city breaks across the board.
The sister islands of Majorca and the smaller Menorca dominate the list, along with Ibiza and Gran Canaria both securing two spots.
Here are the top ten holiday resorts Tripadvisor recommends.
1. Palladium Hotel Cala Llonga
The Cala Llonga cove is nestled in the green hills of Ibiza and boasts a breathtaking white-sand beach.
The highly rated adult-only hotel has been completely refurbished with a modern and chic touch amongst the natural beauty of the cove.
2. White Sands Beach Club By Diamond Resorts
This gorgeous resort overlooks the golden beach and secluded cove of Arenal d’en Castell on Menorca’s north coast.

This Spanish beach club is a clear all-rounder that deserves its place in the top ten.
