The UE5-Powered Fan-Made Demo Shows What a Fallout New Vegas Remake Would Look Like

0

Although Obsidian seems to be too busy to work on a Fallout New Vegas Remake, you can at least enjoy an incredible concept trailer created by fans.

For many Fallout fans, Fallout New Vegas is much more than a simple spin-off from the series. Developed by Obsidian Entertainment, New Vegas soon turned into one of the most popular RPG titles when it was launched back in 2010. Still, the game receives new DLC-size mods and expansions from the talented community.

However, all this was never enough for Bethesda to allow Obsidian Entertainment to work on a sequel to this great game. That being said, now that Bethesda and Obsidian are both operating under the wing of Microsoft, it isn’t ridiculous anymore to expect a remake for Fallout New Vegas.

Fallout New Vegas Remake Fan-Trailer Will Make You Wish It Was Real

Although there is nothing official regarding such an idea, a talented team of creators has already worked on a brief tech demo for Fallout New Vegas, showing off how great the game would look like if it gets a remake on PC and next-gen consoles.

Powered by Unreal Engine 5, this visually fantastic tech demo depicts the world of New Vegas and its mutated creatures in modern visuals. Even we get to take a look at the remake version of the iconic character in the official box art of Fallout New Vegas.

Obviously, you don’t need to hear from me how eagerly RPG fans are looking forward to hearing something new from Fallout New Vegas, but we can probably hope the community’s reaction to this fan-made trailer eventually convinces Bethesda to greenlight a sequel to New Vegas from Obsidian Games.

Currently, Obsidian Games has been divided into multiple teams, each one working on a different project. While two major teams are working on Avowed and The Outer Worlds 2, two smaller groups are developing Pentiment and Grounded. After Grounded, Avowed seems to be the closest game to launch from Obsidian, though some rumors were pointing out a reboot in the development of the game recently.

With four games already in the pipeline, it is probably difficult to expect Obsidian to start working on a new big project anytime soon, but the studio just never fails to amaze gamers.
